How to run a smoke test this week

A smoke test measures what people do, not what they say. You describe the offer as if it already exists and count how many try to act on it.

The recipe fits in a week:

  1. A one-page landing with a real, specific offer and price.
  2. A call to action that means commitment — a “Buy” or “Start” button that leads to a short “coming soon, leave your email.”
  3. A trickle of traffic — a post, a niche community, a few euros of ads.

Then read one number: of the people who arrived, how many clicked to buy? That’s intent you can trust. Nice comments are free; a click toward a checkout is a small, honest vote.

Cheap, fast, and it tells you whether to keep going — before you’ve built the thing.
